In such a short space of time, I'm saying hello again. Don't think I've been uber busy crafting because you'd be wrong. This was a little project I started a few months back. I managed to put the finishing touches to it last week. I have themed it on "Scribe" so we have background papers and stamps from PaperArtsy, Stazon ink on the bottle, small glass bottle, wooden cotton bobbins, Tim Holtz idea-ology curio knobs, TH idea-ology pen nibs and various TH distress inks.

Hello Blogland
Hello to all you lovely bloggers out there, it's been ages since I have done anything art or craft related. Hope you've all had a lovely summer. I had a mixture of good ,bad and sad. My dear old mum died back in July, she was the best. I know that no-one lives forever but you kind of think you're mum is always going to be around, don't you? I suppose she will be in a sense, she will always live on in our hearts.
I finally found some inspiration this week and did a bit of art journaling. I coloured the background with acrylics, glimmer mist and ecoline inks. It all looked very Christmassy and sparkly so I decided it would make a lovely Christmas page. Once I added the fabulous Stampotique figures to it, it reminded me of an "Office Party", hence the title!
The little guy holding the mistletoe represents the short, grumpy bald headed boss, trying to get a kiss from the girls..........no offence to short, grumpy, bald headed bosses out there, I'm sure you're all lovely really.
I've got a couple of back-grounds ready to do some more pages so hopefully it won't be so long before my next posting :)
The pages look better side by side but it wouldn't let me do that for some reason.

Happy Jubilee Day Everyone!
The weather hasn't been the best but it has been BRITISH....lol! What a great Jubilee weekend it's been, pageants, concerts and today the British public showing their support for the Queen after 60 glorious years on the throne. For me, I've spent today crafting, I've using my Octopode Factory stamps and I'm entering this into the Octopode Factory Friday Challenge, I haven't entered into any blog challenges for a while but this one caught my eye as this weeks challenge is Black and White. I've used 4 stamps from the Octopode Factory, Black and London Fog Memento Inks, copic pens and Promarkers.

Well..........it's been a while
Over a month in fact, since I last blogged, I haven't had room to craft for about a month now. Things are slowly getting back to normal and I've managed to find a small space in my so called craft room to get a few journal pages done. I've not been able to do any since I went on a one day workshop at the Craft Barn in April, taught by the very talented Neil Walker. If you get the chance to go to one of Neil's classes you'll love it. These are the pages I've done so far. They're not all finished yet and some don't even have any journalling on them, that's the part I find most difficult. I'm just waiting for that moment of inspiration to hit me!!!!
I did these two pages at the workshop.
This is one I'm working on at the moment.
These are more or less finished but need more journalling on them. I'm totally at a loss with the journalling bit.

You should see me without the gear on......
Or maybe not!!!!! I love the Octopode Factory stamps, thank you Lily. This one is the "Trick or Treat Ghost", now I know it's not Halloween but ghosts don't just come out at Halloween you know? I've named him (yes I know HE has a handbag, but that's for his treats!) Walter. Without his gear on? I'll leave that to your imagination.

The Phantom of the Opera
Well, this is my second blog this month (in a week actually) I've got an unexpected day off work so I thought I'd spend most of it crafting. I've just treated myself to some Octopode Factory stamps, this one is "Lady Audrey" and she's coloured with Copics and Prismacolor Pencils.
